Dan Merwin – Telecom/IT Agent and Broadcast Technician at Broadcast Telecom
Tyson Crosby – Solutions Engineer at Intelisys
As you may have seen on Kirk Harnack’s TWiRT podcast recently, iHeart and other station groups are replacing their RF STLs and legacy WAN technologies with SD-WAN. There are dozens of SD-WAN vendors in the marketplace and it takes an expert to navigate the landscape.
Dan and Reggie will talk about:
What does the term SD-WAN mean and what were the circumstances that drove its rapid and widespread development and adoption? (One reason is the ever-improving reliability, performance, availability, and cost of internet access)
- What are the basic components and features of SD-WAN?
- What does the architecture look like?
- How much does it cost?
